Jon Devrind Signature Deck

Posted on novembre 07 2020

What’s good jon? What have you been up to as of recent? Anything new and exciting? Whole’lotta things going on right now. Been on the road for almost 3 weeks now with the scooterfarm boys. Working on 2 videos one for norf and one for the new tsf dvd, and I just bought a sprinter van. Taking a look at this new catalog here, it looks like you’ve landed yourself a new signature Horizon deck and in my opinion is it ever a nice one. How are you feeling about getting a second iteration of your signature deck? I’m juiced, that’ll be #4 in my time as a scooter rider. Still surreal to me and I don't think it ever won’t be. Although they are both Horizon’s, it looks like with this one you actually have two available sizes now, one coming in at 5.75 x 23 and the other a little smaller at 5.75 x 21.5. How did you decide to add a different variation this time around? There’s always younger heads that wanna rock with me, but my preferences in deck size are a lil too fat for’em. so I wanted to broaden the horizon a bit. No pun intended there? Another big change I’m seeing is the colour combo you’ve got going on in this one. I think my first impression is that it looks relatively the same (but better) than an old signature you had with “a company that cannot be named” . How’d you decide on this light tan and matte black colour combo? I’ve always liked earthy tones, Travis house had a sig tsi years ago and that’s what sparked the idea (he does turndowns too). I wanted to change it up a lil though so we brightened up the yellow hue a bit and matte black goes with everything. You also chose to have both a bottom and top graphic this time around, I’m personally in love with both choices here, but mind dropping some intel on how you decided on both of these? I found a hat at salval one time and it’s been a daily ever since. That’s where the top graphic came from. The bottom was a brain collab between me and sneeth involving some rats and a cutty back street. My fav spots are found in alleys and I think rats are cute af. lil class lil crust. Any other shoutouts you wanted to make while we’re here? Shoutout my parents, My beautiful girlfriend Steph, Hammy for filming me all these years, All my sponsors for putting up with me, And the entire scooter community for being the best family I could ever ask for.
